It is with profound sadness, yet also immense gratitude, that the PASSO family and the TONFACK family announce the passing of their beloved Fo’o Nkoundeng TONFACK Gaston, affectionately known as Papa Gauss. He leaves behind dozens of lives he brightened with his intelligence and warmed with his generosity.

Unconditional love
He carried an unconditional love for everyone. He certainly had character, but it was always put to the service of others, even beyond his family and circle of friends.
A father to MANY…
Under his roof, he raised, housed, and supported more than fifty people over the years. In his home, the saying “when there's enough for one, there's enough for all” took on its full meaning: he welcomed everyone.
The joy of living
Jovial and warm, always ready to throw a celebration, he had that rare gift of making life feel lighter for everyone around him.
A driving force for development
A true telecommunications expert, he saw his tireless work as a way to contribute to his country's development. A leader and a pillar of his community, his achievements left a remarkable mark on both his hometown and his family.
A passion for sport
Passionate about sport since childhood, he made it his life's therapy. A Nambudo master, veteran basketball player, and devoted fan of the Indomitable Lions, the Williams sisters, and Nadal, he cultivated discipline, strength, courage, and conviction every day.
